Shipping & Returns
After completing the checkout process prices will include VAT and delivery charges within the UK mainland. Delivery will be made to the registered billing address only. For delivery to European addresses outside of the UK mainland and Ireland, please send us an email and we will advise on delivery cost.
Republic of Ireland
We will ship small parcels to the republic of Ireland up to a weight of 2kg. There is a delivery surcharge of £5.50. In order to process your order, please type ireland in the coupon code box at checkout. This will automatically add the delivery charge. If the order does not include the delivery charge, we will refund the payment and cancel the order. Delivery times for Ireland vary and are not covered by the terms stated below for UK delivery.This also applies to other destinations outwith the uk.
Delivery
We want to deliver your goods to you as quick as we possibly can.
You will receive an e-mail to acknowledge your order and an e-mail once your order is ready for despatch.
Any date or period of delivery will be considered as indicative only, however we will aim to despatch your order within 7 working days. This can be subject to availability as sometimes we may run out of an item/s due to high demand, however we will inform you within this period if we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason.
Packages under 2kg are sent first class recorded post/special delivery, so they can be tracked if they go missing.
Packages over 2kg are sent via Royal Mail insured standard parcel service, and delivery may take between 3-5 working days. All goods must be signed for. Should there be no-one to sign for the goods, the courier will leave a card, and you can re-arrange a delivery time to suit.
If you have not received your goods 5 working days after receiving an e-mail confirming despatch of your goods, please email us, providing your order number, name, address, and brief details of what you ordered.
Loss Or Damage upon Delivery
When your goods are delivered, check the condition of the boxes and please sign for them "UNCHECKED".
You must ensure that you only sign for the correct number of boxes, only sign for the number actually delivered.
Always check the driver's delivery paperwork before signing with your signature. If goods are signed for, but the damage was not apparent at time of delivery, you must notify us in writing before 1pm the next working day after delivery. Should you fail to do so, we will NOT accept any liability for the damage, as the delay invalidates our insurance.
If goods are damaged upon delivery (for example the box is damaged) you should write "DAMAGED" on the drivers paperwork - always sign for any goods as 'unchecked'
Once we have been notified of damage or loss, we will collect or replace the damaged / missing item(s) as soon as possible after notification.
Returns and Exchanges
Your statutory rights are not affected by anything contained on this page. Your rights to return goods are protected under the UK Distance Selling Directive.
Cancellation/Returning Goods
Should you decide that you wish to cancel your order, you must inform us in writing within 7 working days of the date of receipt of the goods. Your debit/credit card will be refunded within 30 days. This does not apply to Trimmer line which has been cut or made to order.
You must return the goods to us without delay, at your cost. Also, due to us offering free delivery on certain items, we will deduct the cost of the initial postage of the item to you, otherwise we would be operating at a loss. You must return the items to us within 5 working days of contacting us about the return or you will be liable to a restocking fee of £10. You must ensure goods are insured in transit.The goods MUST be in perfect condition, unused, complete with all parts and packing in the original packaging.
We are entitled to deduct from any refund the cost of any missing accessories.When returning a product, please enclose a copy of your invoice together with a covering letter giving a daytime contact number. For your guarantee to apply, all goods must be returned to us in their original cartons, in good condition, complete with all packaging and accessories supplied. Failure to do so will lead to an extra charge being incurred if these subsequently need to be replaced. The ability to cancel an order is not intended to be used to try multiple products. If a customer purchases and returns products regularly, we will not process any further orders from the customer.
Faulty Goods
In the instance of faulty goods, please feel free to e-mail us for technical advice. Once you return the item to us, and it has been verified as having a fault, the product will be replaced or repaired as soon as possible. We suggest sending items with a value below £50 by 2nd class recorded delivery, and over £50 by Royal Mail standard parcels.We will re-imburse any postage to you if you use these services. If you decide to return an item using a more expensive delivery service then the additional cost will not be refunded.. If the item is no longer available, it may be replaced with an equivalent product or you will have the option of a full refund for that item.
If the returned product tests as working normally, or has been modified, altered or tampered with, it will be sent back to you as soon as possible with a test report. You will incur a £10.00 +VAT testing charge, and all postage costs. This will be charged to the credit/debit card used for your original order.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the returned goods are packed properly and insured against loss. We cannot accept any responsibility for goods damaged in transit to us, irrespective of whether they are faulty.Contact our customer service department and we will email you a Return Number. Indicate the Return Number on the packing slip. Insure your package for the full value of the merchandise. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles from the day you return your package for your account to be credited. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
